What is the Odisha Khushi+ Scheme?
The chief minister of Odisha launched the Khushi+ Scheme for Adolescent girls studying in Schools and Colleges. Under this Scheme, girls will be provided with Free distribution of sanitary napkins to improve their menstrual health of girls.
The Department of Health and Family Welfare issued a statement saying that around 17 lakh girls will be benefited from this scheme. Menstrual Hygiene is one of the major important areas under the preventive health system. The Odisha government gives good menstrual Hygiene health care to all women of the state.
This scheme was launched because according to a national family health survey, about 53% of females in Odisha use unhygienic methods for their menstrual cycle and about 69 percent women use cloth to soak blood flow. Hence this scheme was launched by the Odisha Government to counter these issues in the state.

The Objective of the Odisha Khushi+ Scheme
The Odisha government launched This scheme to empower poor women who are unable to buy sanitary napkins and they use Clothes or other unhygienic methods for their menstrual cycle. Under this Scheme, the Odisha government is also giving Sanitary napkins to rural women because they are also suffering from these issues the government is providing Napkins at the Rate of Rs. 6 per 6 napkins, which will cost only 1 Rs. Per Napkin.

Odisha Government launched the Web Application for the Government Schools of the state, through which they can log in from the Official Website and can manage the ongoing stock of Napkins. They can see the reports and manage the necessary operations. Under Khushi+ web applications schools can demand more sanitary napkins by giving them Proper Reports.

Government Aided School girls will also be Benefited under The Khushi+ Scheme
The government of Odisha issued the order to include all the government Aided school girls under the This Scheme. All the girls from 6th to 12th will be given free Sanitary Pads.
