What is Gujarat Garib Kalyan Mela 2022? 

Garib Kalyan Mela is organized every year for the poor. This initiative has given happiness to many poor homes. This meal will be launched for 3 days throughout the state. The idea of these Fairs came in 2009-10 intending to reduce the poverty of the state and make it a better developing state in India. Gareeb Kalyan mela will give strength and self oneself-respect poor with an objective of ‘no more living the Poverty’. About 60,000 beneficiaries will benefit under this three-day state-wide Mela.

These fairs are not just for the price of kindness but it is organized for those who are entitled to it. This initiative is to motivate the poor and strengthen them for better future life.

Garib Kalyan mela has become a powerful medium for the poor as this mela can organize necessary organizations and NGOs to help the poor. In the 13th Garib Kalyan Mela, millions of rupees were distributed to the Beneficiaries and needy people. Distribution of three-wheeler cycles to disabled persons, providing them with houses under the Chatchavadh Yojana of Gujarat. 

• 54000 agricultural beneficiaries will be awarded assistance Benefits worth Rs.41 crore. All money will be given in cheques.

Under Poor’s welfare Fairs 2022, there is a target of giving the pucca house to the poor under Pradhanmantri Awas yojana, 12000 Rupees for toilets, free electricity connection under saubhagya yojana and giving them other benefits under this scheme.
