The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying under the ministry of Fisheries has Started the National Gopal Ratna Award to Boost the Milk production in India. As we know that under the leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, the Rashtriya Gokul mission was launched in December 2014 for the First time in India.
Under Rashtriya Gokul mission, The National Gopal Ratna Award 2023 Nomination has been Started by the Government of India and Nomination will be Started from 15 August 2023 and will be applicable till 15 September 2023. Gopal Ratna Award 2023 Eligibility
- Any Farmer maintaining any of the Recognised indigenous breeds out 53 Breed of Cattle and 20 breeds of buffaloes Shall be Eligible Gopal Ratna Award Apply Online.
- AI Technicians of Country must be Have undergone AI Training for a minimum period of 90 Days.
- Cooperative milk Producing Societies must be Registered under Cooperative Act.
- Milk Producing Companies must be Registered under Company Act.
- In the Third Category, the Organization must be Collecting at least 100 litres of Milk per day and having At Least 50 farmers members.
- One Applicant can Fill up one Application only in one Category.

Under the National Gopal Ratna Award 2023 winners will be Provided with a Certificate of merit, a memento and Amount in Each Category and there will be 9 Awards will be given this year (3 awards in each Category).
