West Bengal Shikshashree Scholarship Scheme
The West Bengal Government has launched the Sikshashree Scheme to provide Financial Assistance to the Students of the SC Community studying from Class V to VIII. There are two grants in this Scheme: Assistance in the form of a Free Book Grant and Assistance in the Form of Maintenance Grant. About 5 million Students will benefit under this Scheme. The Scheme is intended to enhance the Quality of education of the SC Category Students and Reduce the Dropout numbers.

Eligibility for Shikshashree Scholarship Scheme
- Students must be Permanent Residents of West Bengal.
- Students must be studying in Class V to Class VIII.
- Students must be Studying one of the Government School, Government Aided School or Government recognised Schools of West Bengal.
WB Shikshashree Application Form
- Application forms can be obtained from The Schools where the student is Studying.
- Candidates can also get the Sikshashree Application Form from the Dusre Sarkar Camps.
- Fill out the Application form with the necessary Details and Submit it to the schools where the student is studying.
WB Sikshashree Scholarship Status
- Status can be checked by visiting the official website of Duare Sarkar.
- Fill the Mobile number and Select Sikshashree from the Given List.
- Click on the Submit Button.
- You will get status of your application form.
