Goa Solar Portal for Solar Rooftop 2023: Apply online for Subsidy

Recently the Goa Government has announced an annual budget for the financial year of 2023-24, under which many Government welfare Schemes have been Announced for Youths, Women, Children and Farmers. Today we are going to Talk about the Goa Solar Portal developed by Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) in association with the Department of New & Renewable Energy and Electricity Department. Unde this Goa Solar Portal, Solar Rooftop will be provided by the Government of Goa under Subsidised Manner. Goa Solar Portal for Solar Rooftop 

The Chief Minister of Goa Has launched Goa Solar Portal to Solar rooftop for Consumers of Goa State. Under this Portal Goa Solar Rooftop facility will be provided by the State government and subsidy for installing solar Rooftop will be provided by the Central and State Government based on the Type of Goa Solar Rooftop. Domestic Consumers of the State will be able to get Subsidy based on the Capacity of Goa Rooftop Solar System. Capacity of Goa Solar Rooftop Solar will be of three types (i). 3 kWp, (ii). 3 kWp to 10 kWp, (iii). 90 kW 

Subsidy For Goa Rooftop Solar 

Both State Government and Central Government will provide Subsidy to Domestic Consumers of The State for installing Rooftop Solar (Goa RTS). Under Goa Solar Portal Subsidy breakdown based on the Capacity is given Below. 

Subsidy for RTS system up to 3 kW

Subsidy for RTS system from 3 kW to 10 kW

Goa Rooftop Solar Eligibility Criteria

• Consumers shall be Eligible for 50% subsidy comprising both Central and State up to 90 kW of Capacity.
• All consumers except Domestic Category Shall be eligible to avail State Subsidy up to 20% for capacity up to 90 kW. 
• Subsidy will be given only after Successful working of the system for 6 months. 
• Payment of rooftop system installation along with Application and metre charges will be given by the Consumer.

• Aadhaar Card
• Passport size photo
• Copy of Electricity Bill 
• Copy of ID Proof
• Domicile Certificate
• Mobile Number 

Goa Rooftop Solar Apply Online through Goa Solar Portal

To Apply for the Rooftop Solar, Consumer will have to visit the official Website of the Goa Solar Portal and follow the below Steps.

1. Click on the Apply for Rooftop Solar and Fill the below Details
   1. Consumer Number
   2. Rooftop area
   3. Average Electricity Bill
   4. Average unit consumption.
   5. Mobile Number
   6. Click on Submit Button. 
2. Click on the Payback Calculation (Subsidy Calculator)
   1. Click on the Apply button to allow Installer to contact you. 
   2. Keep the unique number safe for future Reference. 
3. Installers will check the Lead Generated on Goa Solar Portal
   1. They will connect with the consumer.
   2. You can select any installer and directly connect with them for installation 
4. Once Selected, fill the following Details
   1. Passport Size Photo
   2. Aadhaar Card
   3. Copy of ID Proof
   4. Copy of Electricity Bill
5. Your Selected installer will submit the Application form
   1. Consumer will need to verify the OTP
   2. Consumers will have to sign the Application form.
6. Goa Government Department will Approve the Rooftop Solar Application.
   1. Installer will install the Solar Rooftop on consumer’s Roof
   2. After Successful installation.
   3. Installer will apply for Goa rooftop solar Subsidy.
