The Grahini Shakti Yojana aims at giving empowerment to the housewives, Landless women, Agricultural workers women by providing them Financial Assistance through Direct Benefit Transfer mode. Karnataka Grihini Shakti Yojana 2023

Chief minister of Karnataka Shri Basavraj Bommai launched Grihini Shakti Yojana to provide financial assistance to the housewives, Landless women, Agricultural workers women. Under the Grahini Shakti Yojana financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 per month will be provided to them through the DBT mode and Free Skill Development training under Shram Shakti Yojana will be provided to one lakh Women in the Current year to enable Housewives to start Profitable home based Business and Self Employment. 

Chief Minister Shri Basavraj Bommai said that the Financial assistance under The Grihini Shakti Yojana will provide Women empowerment and Skill Training under the Shram Shakti Yojana will help in Enhancing them for Financial literacy and Earning profits through Home based Industries. 

Objectives of Grihini Shakti Yojana

• To empower women of Karnataka State 
• To provide them financial Assistance of Rs. 1,000 per month. 
• To support Landless women Agricultural workers and Housewives of Karnataka State.
• To provide free skill training to one lakh Women of State under sub-scheme Shram Shakti. 

Benefits of Grihini Shakti Yojana

• Housewives of Karnataka will be able to get free Rs.1,000 per month that amounts to 6000 Rupees per year. 
• Landless women Agricultural workers will also be Benefitted under this Scheme. 
• Amount will be transferred directly to their Bank Account through DBT Mode.
• Free skill Development training will be Provided under Shram Shakti Yojana. 
• Previously there was a subsidy of Rs. 500 per month but Chief Minister Increased Subsidy for women to Rs. 1,000 per month
• Women will be able to buy essential goods and Will able to fill Needs.

• Women must be permanent residents of Karnataka State.
• Applicants must not have any land in their name otherwise Grihini Shakti Yojana Application Form will be rejected.
• Women under BPL Category will be covered under this Scheme.
• Government employees will not be covered under this scheme.
• Non- BPL families will not be Benefitted under the Gruhini Shakti Yojana.
