Following This, Assam Government has launched various Initiatives to Ensure Proper elementary Education in the State. Today we are going to Talk about Assam Gunotsav 2023, which is A very unique Initiative launched by the Assam Government to Ensure quality elementary education with improved learning outcomes. What is the Assam Gunotsav 2023?
The Assam Government launched various Initiatives to ensure quality education in the State but Gunotsav has become a very Popular initiative in the previous year. This Initiative was launched for enhancing the education system by Evaluating the knowledge of Children from every School in every District of Assam. The Assam Gunotsav 2023 will Enhance learning of students through timely regular feedback and support and bring about improved learning outcomes. This Popular initiative will held From 18 January 2023 to 18 February 2023 in three phases, Each Phase will have Certain of Districts.

- Ministers, IAS,IPS,IFS officers, Class–I & II officers will visit schools and take part in the process of evaluation to Encourage Students.
- To curb Learning Gaps among Students.
- To reduce common errors, misconceptions, strong & weak competencies among Children.

Assam Gunotsav 2023 Schedule

This year Assam Gunotsav 2023 will be Organized in three Phases from 18 January to 18 February. Over 88,525 Schools and 42,76,881 Students from class I to IX will be covered in this Program. Phase 1 will Start from 18 January to 21 January 2023 Covering 11 Districts, Phase 2 will Start from 1 February to 4 February Covering 14 Districts and Phase 3 will be Organized from 15 February to 18 February Covering 8 Districts.

- There will be two types of Evaluation take Place 1. Self Evaluation 2. External Evaluation.
- Marking system will be based on 90% for scholastic, 5% for co-Scholastic and 5% for Community Participation.
- Coverage of 42,76,881 Students from Class I to IX.
- Gunotsav 2023 Question Paper is set or prepared for analysing the Educational Strength, to improve the Education and identifying Learning Gaps.
